DIY OSINT: Building Email, Username, and Telephone Investigation Skills

Interested in developing your own email, username, and telephone investigation capability? It can be both cost-effective and enjoyable to build these capabilities yourself. Ginger T has published a new blog post that provides a step-by-step guide on exactly how to do that.

Maximising OSINT Insights: Leveraging Multiple Languages

Justen Charters shared a valuable OSINT tip on LinkedIn. When investigating African countries, use European languages for queries. For instance, search in Portuguese for Angola and Mozambique, French for the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Spanish for Equatorial Guinea.

Utilising multiple languages, especially the one widely spoken in each respective country, is crucial for identifying relevant information and gaining a comprehensive understanding of these nations, their people, and the challenges they face.

Note from the OSINT Jobs team: Language proficiency is a critical skill that can distinguish OSINT analysts. While OSINT techniques can be learned, language proficiency isn't something everyone can acquire at the same pace. Investing in language capabilities is not only beneficial for your professional development but also offers numerous personal advantages.

Thanks to Milan Janosov for highlighting these valuable resources in his LinkedIn post: 'Exploring 25 Satellite Maps and 15 Free Satellite Imagery Data Sources for Your OSINT Toolkit.
